My second three year tour brought me to the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, NY. While there I was assigned to Bravo 2/14 Infantry. Shortly after my arrival I went to the Former Republic of Yugoslavia (Bosnia) on the NATO peacekeeping mission for 9 months. While stationed at Fort Drum I met even more respectable people, leaders, and friends. For some reason, at this moment, I cannot find any of my pictures from this time in service so instead I will provide you with some Bosnia and 10th Mountain content.

1SG Schumacher was my squad leader when I got back from Bosnia. He is an unbelievable leader and a friend. His accomplishments with 2/14 far exceed the standards of a Mountain Soldier. Jason McGimpsey is my closest friend from Fort Drum. We still keep in touch and get together several times a year. Jay is also the Godfather of my son, Cameron. There are others who were good friends; Greg Fagg, Chris Tecklenburg, Mike Hendershot, to name a few. Jason Naranjo and I stay in touch but not as frequently as I would like. Tom Loukola and I talk a few times a week because he is soon to be a New Hampshire State Trooper. Congrats Tom!
